Under the direction of Music Director & Conductor Daniel Meyer, the Lakeside Symphony Orchestra (LSO) opens its 61st Summer Concert Series in Hoover Auditorium at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, July 27. The Pops Concert features music from Broadway and special guest Lisa Vroman, soprano.

Firelands Symphony Orchestra and Chorale featuring Connor Bogart O’Brien
A sweet twist on the annual holiday pops concert, this year’s program will feature many new and unexpected versions of holiday music. The orchestra and guest vocalist Connor Bogart O’Brien performs selections from Trans-Siberian Orchestra, Duke Ellington’s Nutcracker, Holiday Hoedown, Clarinet Candy, and more.The FSO Chorale also ring in the season with holiday music from around the globe.
Alternative rock band GUSTER joins the Toledo Symphony for a one-night-only performance of their most beloved songs from their Look Alive, Evermotion, Easy Wonderful, Keep It Together, and more! Formed in 1991 at Tufts University, Guster remained mostly underground for their first two albums and broke into the mainstream with their third album, Lost and Gone Forever featuring "Fa Fa" which landed them in the Top 40.
Firelands Symphony Orchestra
Celebrate the summer season with the return of the Firelands Symphony Orchestra’s annual summer pops concert! This free outdoor concert features a variety of fun songs for all ages. Come out to McBride Arboretum on the BGSU campus (from Boos Road) and enjoy the sounds of your local Firelands Symphony Orchestra against the beautiful nature of Parker Lake.
